"I’m actually in a much better place now and that is down to the sessions we have had. Just vocalising my thoughts has helped enormously and forced me to not only reflect on, but also share what’s in my head."
"Having space for myself to think about my responses and behaviour, what triggers me and why, has been transformative."
"Talking about my relationship with my parents and their influence on my attachment style has given me a deeper understanding of how I tick."
" Caroline provides invaluable perspective and insights about oneself, it would not be an overstatement that she's a life-saver. 100% recommend."
How do I know if I need counselling?
Counselling can help you understand issues better, change old habits, deal with personal problems, or grow as a person. You might seek counselling during tough times or because people close to you suggest it.
What happens in a counselling session?
Counselling sessions vary and your counsellor is skilled at listening and creating a safe space for you to talk about your concerns. You can talk about anything you want, like daily events, problems, emotions, thoughts, things you wish you did differently, dreams, and memories.
Is counselling confidential?
Yes, counselling sessions are private, but if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, the appropriate people would be informed.
Why do I need to attend weekly sessions?
Weekly sessions are the usual arrangement, allowing you to progress steadily toward your goals. Sometimes, if you and your counsellor agree it's helpful and they have availability, you might have more than one session per week.
How do I start counselling?
